Pictured left is the old studio which last saw service this spring. Since then, "Nightly" has been using temporary studios in preparation for Monday's big debut.
Also, MSNBC which is moving into "30 Rock" will debut their new studios Monday Morning ending their presence in Secaucus, New Jersey where they have been since launching the network with Microsoft.
NBC also announced recently they are selling their legendary studios in Burbank, CA - longtime home to "The Tonight Show" after Leno signs off in 2009. They will be building new studios nearby where Conan O'Brien will debut as "Tonight Show" host at that time.

You and I are thinking along the same lines. This morning, I set the DVR to tape the start of "Morning Joe" at 6:00 am on MSNBC so I can see the new set for them - and to tape "Nightly News" tomorrow night to see the debut of that set. I'm looking forward to seeing them both.
I liked Friday night when Brian Williams ended "Nightly News" by "trying" to get into his new studio and he couldn't do so.
As for the upcoming new digs for NBC's west coast operations, this will complete the "hat trick" for the "big three" Los Angeles TV stations in terms of moving their studios. KABC-TV moved in 2000; and KCBS-TV moved this past spring along with co-owned independent KCAL-TV.
