We wanted to update you on the excitement we had Tuesday night at Channel 3 when smoke starting coming out of the floor in the newsroom. Apparently the smoke started as the newscast was just beginning.Turns out the cause was a motor that's part of the ventilation system under the raised floor. No one was hurt and things returned quickly to normal about 1 a.m.
