It's time for another "behind the scenes" look at what's happening inside the WKYC Digital Broadcast Center celebrating our 15th year at 13th and Lakeside.
The first day of Fall is this week here in northeast Ohio and with the change of seasons brings a new weekday program to the Channel 3 airwaves.
Our parent company TEGNA Media, has successfully launched the T.D. Jakes Show with a positive, uplifting voice, at a time when we believe so many Americans are starved for meaningful stories that celebrate unity, tolerance and hope over cynicism. The show is the first program TEGNA has launched as a syndicated program without traditional syndication partners and is a wholly owned production of the company. Catch the T.D. Jakes Show weekdays at 3 pm on Channel 3 and let us know what you think using the #tdjakesshow.
The 4th annual WKYC Health and Wellness Expo is set for Saturday, October 8th, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland with FREE ADMISSION. WKYC personalities will be there to welcome you along with special guests from NBC and a chair from the very popular show “The Voice." Visitors will be invited to show off their talents as a news or weather anchor and auditions will be uploaded to the WKYC Facebook page. This year, you can get free screenings for cholesterol, BMI, bone density, body comp, hep C testing, hearing screenings and flu vaccinations. We'll see you there!
Then on Saturday, October 22nd, WKYC is partnering with several local community organizations for our annual "Make a Difference Day." Watch Channel 3 News and log on to wkyc.com for details on how your organization can help us this year.
