WKYC-TV 3 Brings Justice Network to Northeast Ohio

A brand new crime and investigation entertainment network is coming to Northeast Ohio and that means bad news for area criminals. Starting Tuesday, January 20 the Justice Network, a free over-the-air multicast network, will air live on WKYC’s 3.2 digital channel. The first-of-its-kind network -- hosted by Emmy award-winning broadcaster John Walsh -- will feature gripping stories of true crime and aims to make communities safer by empowering viewers to take action.

Working in partnership with Crime Stoppers USA, The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and other law enforcement agencies, the Justice Network will dedicate 90 seconds to public service every hour, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This includes thirty seconds to the most wanted fugitives, thirty seconds to help locate missing children, and thirty seconds to providing viewers with invaluable safety tips.

Additionally, Justice Network will have a range of entertaining programming and gripping stories of true mystery. This compelling content includes popular series such as Body of Evidence, Masterminds, The Investigators, Psychic Detectives, I, Detective, LA Forensics, Missing Persons Unit, Murder by the Book, Parco P.I., Locked Up Abroad, Alaska State Troopers, Extreme Evidence, North Mission Road, Haunting Evidence, Over the Limit and Dominick Dunne’s Power Privilege and Justice.

WKYC President and General Manager Micki Byrnes commented, “WKYC and Justice Network share the joint purpose of serving the greater good of all our area’s communities. By making Justice Network content available we are meeting that purpose head on while also providing engaging programming content to our area’s viewers.”

“WKYC is bringing the Justice Network to life by placing the best crime, investigation and mystery programming in front of a large audience at launch,” said Justice Network CEO Steve Schiffman. “And our mission-driven programming is giving local audiences a real chance to answer a call to action by finding missing children and catching fugitives.”
