WKYC and NBC will offer up a stocking full of festive holiday programming this season original Christmas music/variety specials from Blake Shelton (Monday, December 3; 10-11 p.m. ET) and Michael Buble (Monday, December 10 10-11 p.m. ET); the new special "Christmas in the White House" (Thursday, December 13, 8-9 p.m. ET) and the traditional tree-lighting ceremony on "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" (Wednesday, November 28, 8-9 p.m. ET).
"The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" will step off on Thursday, November 22 (9 a.m-12 noon all time zones).
Following the parade will be popular holiday special "The National Dog Show Presented by Purina" -- hosted by actor, author and Broadway star John O'Hurley ("Seinfeld," "Dancing with the Stars") and expert analyst David Frei -- on Thanksgiving Day from 12 noon to 2 p.m. in all time zones.
In addition, the network will once again honor the United States armed forces as World Wrestling Entertainment, in conjunction with NBC, will air the fourth annual "WWE Tribute to the Troops" (Saturday, December 22, 9-10 p.m. ET).
NBC's holiday lineup includes the 50th anniversary celebration of "Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol" (Saturday, December 22, 8-9 p.m. ET), a popular musical adaptation that first aired on NBC in 1962 -- and the Christmas classic "It's a Wonderful Life," which will be featured in encore broadcasts on Saturday, December 1 (8-11 p.m. ET) and its Christmas Eve slot on Monday, December 24 (8-11 p.m. ET).
NBC also includes "SNL Christmas" on Wednesday, November 28 (9-11 p.m. ET), a compilation of fan-favorite holiday sketches from "Saturday Night Live." The popular Buble returns a second time to NBC as to host his own Christmas music special in "Michael Buble: Home for the Holidays" while Shelton (NBC's "The Voice") will host his first holiday-themed special in "Blake Shelton's Not-So-Family Christmas."
The Buble holiday special will have an encore broadcast on Friday, December 21 (8-9 p.m. ET) while the Shelton special also will have an encore airing on Friday, December 14 (9-10 p.m. ET). "Christmas in the White House" will have an encore telecast on Friday, December 21 (9-10 p.m. ET). The blockbuster feature film "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" also will have an encore airing on Saturday, November 24 (8-11 p.m. ET) during Thanksgiving weekend.
The hit film "Enchanted" will air on New Year's Eve, Monday, December 31 (8-10 p.m. ET). Likewise, the film "Horton Hears a Who" will be telecast on Christmas night, Monday, December 25 (8-10 p.m. ET).
