The brother of WKYC's Jennifer Murphy, Richard Murphy, has written his first book and it's getting rave reviews.The book, "Confessions of a Contractor"(Putnam; Publication date: Aug. 14th) is the story of Henry Sullivan, an unconventional contractor who renovates houses for wealthy women in Los Angeles.
Richard knows the topic well. Before becoming a successful screenwriter, he supported himself as a contractor.Jennifer tells us "Both my husband and I read the book and just loved it. It has tremendous range and the characters, especially Henry Sullivan, are so likable."
