NATAS Lower Great Lakes Chapter Announces Nomination Party Date & Time

It's Emmy Nomination Time! The entries are in and the judges have their nominees for NATAS Lower Great Lakes' 2010 Emmy Awards! Come enjoy an evening of fun as we announce those in the running for the golden trophies. Nomination parties will be held April 29th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the following locations: Cleveland Hilton Garden Inn-Harvey's Bar 1100 Carnegie Ave. Toledo Fat Fish Blue 6140 Levis Commons Blvd. Perrysburg Indianapolis The Rathskeller 401 N. Michigan St. Admission is $5 for NATAS-LGL members and non-members. At each nominating announcement party, NATAS-LGL has donated one (1) ticket to the Emmy Awards Dinner on Saturday, June 19th at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cleveland. Winner need be present. WKYC and SportsTime Ohio Receive 8 Local Emmy Awards

Congratulations to a number of our WKYC and SportsTime Ohio colleauges who won awards at the 40th Annual Emmy Awards of the Lower Great Lakes Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The ceremony was held Saturday night at the Intercontinental Hotel and included several WKYC presenters such as Del Donahoo, "Good Company Today" co-host Fred Griffith and WKYC news consultant Virgil Dominic. Also, a special recognition was given to WKYC editor John Marinko who retired last year. He was given a Gold Circle Award for more than 50 years in local broadcasting. News: Emmy Nomination Party June 4th

Our friends at the Lower Great Lakes Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has let us know this year's Emmy Nomination Party is set for June 4th. This year's gathering will be held locally at Fat Fish Blue in downtown Cleveland, along with simultaneous gatherings at The Rathskeller in Indianapolis and Fat Blue Fish in Toledo (Perrysburg). Director's Alert: Local Emmy Award Submission Deadline Extended

We just received word from the Lower Great Lake Chapter of NATAS that due to technical problems, the Emmy submission deadline has been extended. According to their release: "The Emmy Express system stopped verification of membership at 1am. EST on Feb. 20th. Emmy Express has been notified and are working on the issue. EMMY SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS BEEN EXTENDED TO MONDAY, FEB 23. WITH DVD RECEIVED BY WEDNESDAY, FEB. 25 One work around is to fill out your entry, which will show NON-MEMBER rates. SELECT PAY LATER. Until we can adjust the entry to the correct rate."

The NATAS Lower Great Lakes chapter is proud to announce that tickets for the 39th Annual Emmy Awards and the 15th Silver Circle Celebration are now available on-line.
